Close-up of a small child's hand holding an adult's finger, symbolizing care and connection.

Birth is a cascade of physical, emotional, relational, and psychic processes that are impossible to make full sense of in the moment.

One’s sense of time can feel altered when compared to the day-to-day, as can one’s state of consciousness.

Without pause, you are now in the role of mother, tasked with all its requirements and demands, learning through immediate immersion, and many things feel, and are, urgent.

Any birth experience, on the continuum between straightforward and traumatic, is an experience worthy of slowing down and relating to it piece by piece. This is a means of integrating the experience with as cohesive a sense of what transpired for you, both internally and externally, as possible.

A young child is standing next to an adult, with the child's head partially hidden behind the adult's leg. The child is looking at the camera with a finger in their mouth. The scene appears to be in a bright, cozy room with a basket of clothing nearby.

These sessions are open to anyone who has gone through a birth – whether it happened decades, years, months, days, or moments ago.
